Storytelling at the Cancer Shelter
Project Overview
Weekly storytelling sessions bringing laughter, creativity, and hope to young warriors battling cancer.
The Full Story
At the CanKids Shelter, Inara Foundation volunteers have made it a weekly ritual to spend time with young warriors battling cancer and their families. Each visit fills the space with laughter, creativity, and hope - turning ordinary afternoons into moments of healing and joy. A special storytelling session led by Sujit Mahapatra, founder of Bakul Foundation, brought extra warmth to the shelter. His words sparked imagination and happiness, touching not only the children but also every volunteer present. We're deeply grateful to CanKids Kidscan for their trust and continued collaboration, and to our volunteers whose compassion and dedication make each visit meaningful. The CanKids Shelter continues to be a place where resilience shines, and every story shared becomes a step toward healing.
