Project Amrit - Summer Relief Initiative
Project Overview
Providing relief to traffic officers, workers, and animals during peak summer heat.
The Full Story
From June 3 to 5, during the peak of summer heat, Inara collaborated with People for Animals to bring relief to both people and animals through Project Amrit. Water containers were set up across the city to help birds and stray animals stay hydrated in the scorching weather. Throughout the three days, Inara volunteers distributed refreshments to traffic officers and security guards enduring long hours in the sun. On the second day, they also shared a healthy, homemade summer drink with auto drivers, bus drivers, and commuters, a simple gesture that carried immense warmth and gratitude. Project Amrit embodied the core value of Inara: small acts of service can create a ripple effect, building community resilience and spreading hope amid global challenges. Over 500 people benefited from this initiative, making this summer not just a season of heat, but of humanity, compassion, and collective joy.
